Lifesize is an amazing new system for portioning food that allows you to do away with with counting calories altogether. Lifesize needed a wide range of web development and media services, as well as a way to promote and sell their product online. We worked with Lifesize’s in-house designer to translate their existing branding into a feature rich website that has been key in bringing their innovative product to the market.
Lifesize needed a way to allow only existing customers to access their large archive of educational and instructional videos on their site. This allows Lifesize to more effectively market their product by creating a members only area that serves as a ‘value add’ to their existing kit. DGT developed a way to integrate Authorize.net (a popular online payment verification service) to their site which allows their customers, after their credit cards have been approved, to log in to Lifesize’s site and gain access to these premium content areas.
Blogging & Podcasting
Blogging is often one of the best ways to promote your product online, it can dramatically effect your rank on search engines such as Google and Bing, sending hundreds (sometimes thousands) of already interested ‘potential customers’ to your site.
We also integrated tools that allow Lifesize to automatically publish their podcast from an ‘easy to use’ admin area on their website as well as explore other new media publishing methods like YouTube.
Integration with PayPal / Authorize.net
We provided the eCommerce services necessary to allow Lifesize to securely accept credit cards from their site. We have also with worked Lifesize management to configure their payment verification service to work in conjuncture the product fulfillment company responsible for the storage and shipping of their inventory.
Video Editing, Motion Graphics, and DVD Authoring
The Lifesize kit includes two DVDs packed with educational and instructional videos. DTG has been instrumental in helping author, create, and repurpose this content for use on the web and for broadcast on the Home Shopping Network.
Web Traffic Analysis (Google Analytics)
Frequent analysis of web traffic is critical in the understanding of how effective your site is at engaging potential customers and selling your product. This service also allows Lifesize to see how effective their promotional campaigns are and take immediate action if a campaign is not performing as expected.
